Porcine Hemoglobin

Imported from USA

Porcine Hemoglobin

A byproduct of the swine industry, obtained from the blood resulting from plasma extraction. It is generally spray-dried. It has a high biological value and is used in feed formulations due to its high palatability, high biological value, and water absorption capacity. Its protein content is high (over 90%), being particularly rich in lysine and valine. However, it has a low concentration of sulfur amino acids and isoleucine.

Its use is approved for pet food, aquaculture, swine, and poultry diets.
