Fish Meal

Fish meal is a protein product of high biological value, obtained from fresh fish and/or marine byproducts, which undergo a process of cooking, pressing, drying, and grinding. It is a fine, free-flowing powder that varies in color (light brown to dark brown) and has a characteristic smell of cooked fish (neither rancid nor burnt). It is primarily used in the formulation of balanced animal feeds (aquaculture, poultry, swine, pets, etc.), and is noted for its excellent amino acid profile, high digestibility, and omega-3 fatty acid (EPA/DHA) content. It is free of foreign substances and pathogenic microorganisms and has low moisture content to ensure stability and shelf life.
